The Commission's mission is simple: to attract new businesses, stimulate private investment, promote job creation, encourage the expansion and retention of existing companies and provide businesses in St. Bernard Parish with workforce training and financial assistance. The Commission promotes St. Bernard Parish's many economic advantages and markets local products and services to spur the economic development of our area.

Led by it's new Executive Director, Rebecca S. Martin, the Commission continues to build on the Parish's prosperity by promoting its positive business climate and outstanding quality of life. In addition, the St. Bernard Parish Economic Development Commission will ensure that all areas of the Parish share equally in its prosperity and will continue to promote St. Bernard Parish as a leader in the New Economy.
